I like doing laundry. I like how it smells all fresh and clean. And when I'm done with it all, it makes me want to wear every piece that I've just laundered because I love that feeling. But that would be counterproductive. Oh Self Control, will I ever find you?
I'm really looking forward to next week's lessons. I almost want to go to bed now so that time will pass and I can wake up to 8am classes tomorrow. Of course, I'd have to wake up earlier to get ready for class, but you know what I mean. I only wish that my group was a little more... no no wait, I take that back, the word I'm looking for is less. I wish my group had less KIRBY in it!

Today I built a house out of cards. And I did it the muggle way. It took an awfully long time. And I don't reckon that I shall ever do it again. Once is quite enough.
I've also decided that I'd like to keep a flamingo as a familiar. Although, I'm not quite sure that the climate would be healthy for it. So, for the sake of the animal's well-being, I'm going to pass if I ever get the opportunity. Perhaps, one day, I'll end up at the same sort of place that a flamingo would be and then I shall keep one. And then I will know that it was meant to be.
An ice lolly sounds terribly delicious right now. I'm going to go find one. Or make one, if the finding takes too long.

I wonder what the castle looks and feels like during the summer. Will we get to go swimming in the lake? And what about Hogsmeade? And will we have a curfew? And what kind of things are they going to be teaching us? Special life skills, I know. But what does that mean?
